The Paralysis Resource Center
The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation Paralysis Resource Center (PRC) is a roadmap of resources for individuals living with paralysis, as well as their caregivers and families. Serving 500,000 individuals annually, the PRC provides complimentary information and services, as well as partners with organizations nationwide to offer programs that promote independence and improved quality of life.
Over the coming months we will need our advocates to band together to expand support and awareness of PRC programs and services. Learn more about the PRC here.
Reimbursement: A Reeve Foundation Advocacy Priority
While the Reeve Foundation has a rich history of advocating for disability rights, one of our current priorities is reimbursement for access to services, tools and technologies that are critical for individuals living with paralysis. We're constantly tracking the issues, including Medicare therapy caps, complex rehabilitation technology, competitive bidding, and the Medicare Improvement Standard. As efforts to improve and address reimbursement move forward, it is important to stay educated so that you can help the Reeve Foundation bring these issues to the forefront. Learn more about our advocacy priorities and how they impact you.
Issues Close to Home
There is always work to be done to advocate for disability rights and refine policies that impact individuals living with disabilities. The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation uses its voice to weigh in on important issues, such as the future passage of the UN Disability Treaty or the funding for the New York Spinal Cord Injury Research Program. Stay updated, stay involved and sign up to be an advocate.
